I love to travel … and as my four year old son Rumi is crazy about space and rockets .. what better place to visit than Washington DC and the Air & Space Museum.

Rocket speed… what a joy to capture with the D3… thank you Nikon!

My favorite moments are the everyday walks, situations that are completely “unimportant” and yet have a beautiful grace to them. I love the work of Henri Cartier – Bresson, who captured these moments so beautifully.

Your work is such an expression of what is important to you.
I, too, have come to appreciate and love the “unimportant” moments most of all. It was you who was one of my first teachers in mindfulness.
You probably do not remember 10 years ago when I told you I was afraid it may rain on my wedding day, ruining everything. Your response hit home; whether it rained or not was insignificant… the beauty was to lie in each moment of our day. It would be even more beautiful amidst the rain! the images you took that day mirrored the sentiment.
I have come to understand that our souls are made up of each small, seemingly trivial moment in time. Our lives are the culmination of many small moments strung together to make the whole. Each of these small moments are more real than the complete finished day and what was learned from it. These moments are the NOW of life, as it is happening. And all we really have is right now.
my 3 children now serve as my best teachers. They teach me about what matters in this life. They have much to teach…all I have to do is listen.
This is why I love your photography so much! Thank you for sharing your work, yourself.
I was so touched by your response … I feel so lucky to have such an amazing connection to my clients, who become more like friends …
