I met our good friends at Swan Point cemetery for their family portrait.

Sam is one of our son’s best buddies from school.

even if you’ve been married for awhile.

This amazing tree was the location for our “LOST BOYS” ABC book shoot.

I shot their wedding over 10 years ago and am so thrilled to still be with them now after three beautiful kids!

Which happens to be one of my favorite places to shoot, as there are so many

scenic and natural wonders, from the old stone walls to the ancient enormous trees.

Are they not the most beautiful couple!! And with a warmth and love for each other that was so touching!

I’m looking forward to their wedding come this October …

We spent some time at the Elms to capture this wonderful family …

We went to one of my new favorite spots … inside the enormous tree on the main lawn of the Elms Property in Newport, Rhode Island.

I photographed Christine and John’s wedding in 1997 at Hammersmith Farm in Newport Rhode Island …

and now they have 2 beautiful sons …  we went to a favorite spot of John’s in Narragansett RI.

When I am photographing children, I love to just hang out with them to get a feel for who they are

These small natural actions are, in my mind, the most beautiful … unselfconscious and graceful.

It  is always so nice to reconnect with past clients …

Coney Island  has not quite opened yet … that didn’t stop us from having a ball!!

Lauren and David kept telling me how un-photogenic they were before we started …

I was very happy to prove them wrong!! Such a sweet lovely couple.

I came across one of  the first images i ever made.

I was staying at the Plaza hotel in NYC with my friend Buddy who was a filmmaker.

It was then that i fell in love with photography ….

How lucky to find a profession that fit me so well

that allowed me to live the kind of adventurous life that i needed to live.

This is another very early photograph of my sister at the beach …

With all that is happening in the world i often stop  and just rest within myself.

In these moments i am overcome by a sense of well being , a deep gratitude rises in me

and i know that i am so blessed … we are all so blessed.

my sleeping boy, safe and healthy and full of joy.

I am grateful for so many things …

the most wonderful family

inspiring friends

creative work that i love

a cozy bed and home to live in

a garden with flowers and vegetables

a community that is unique and eclectic

life is so good!

I first met Samara and Andy when I photographed their engagement portrait in the west village in NYC …

Next was a boudoir shoot of Samara as a gift to Andy.
